Seagull proudly marked a major milestone with the grand launch of Seagull New Horizon Offshore and Marine, a 162,000-square-foot facility located within the Hamriyah Free Zone Authority (HFZA). This expansion into the United Arab Emirates reinforces Seagull’s vision to be a global maritime leader and positions the company at the heart of a region poised for continued industrial growth.
Held on 11 November 2024, the inauguration ceremony was officiated by H.E. Saud Salim Al Mazrouei, Director of HFZA, alongside Mr. Maniam Babu, Seagull’s founder and CEO. Dignitaries and senior representatives from both Singapore and the Middle East were in attendance, highlighting the international significance of this strategic move.
Seagull’s new UAE facility will provide an extensive suite of services including ship repair, maintenance, marine equipment development, electrical installations, and structural fabrication — targeting key sectors such as offshore oil, gas, and wind energy. With HFZA’s robust ecosystem and reputation as a marine innovation hub, Seagull aims to attract offshore oil companies and international shipowners seeking high-quality, efficient solutions.
