Seagull Powers Up with 1.2MW Rooftop Solar System in Tuas

Seagull is proud to announce the successful launch of a 1.2 megawatt rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) system at our 220,000 square-foot facility in Tuas, Singapore. Commissioned on 27 January 2025, this system marks a major step forward in our commitment to sustainability and clean energy adoption.

The newly installed solar PV system is designed to meet the facility’s operational energy needs and beyond. Any surplus energy will be exported back into the national grid, actively supporting Singapore’s transition to a greener energy landscape.

Beyond solar energy, Seagull is driving a holistic ESG agenda. Our sustainability efforts span across technology, systems, safety, and daily operational practices—all to empower our clients to navigate and thrive in today’s dynamic maritime environment.

As a marine services leader, we believe in powering progress—not just for today, but for generations to come. Whether through innovation or impact-driven initiatives, Seagull remains committed to building a resilient, responsible, and future-ready maritime industry.

Seagull achieved LowCarbonSG member status in 2024, and is listed under the UN Global Compact Network Singapore.
